![]() Poetic Undiscipline Artifex, is the willingness to work in accordance with the rules and purpose of the work, itself. The pleasure of the performance is one with duty, the function of which was intended by its nature, with the attitudes that this entails, and we can not bring out another without creating disorder throughout the social organisation to which it belongs. Awareness of what is the very principle of art, defined as uncreated wisdom, which is now what it has always been and always will be. Create identifying oneself, being true and profound with what is effective. The author produces his work not as an individuals but in relation to the company itself. Undergo and make a catharsis, a perfect transformation through structure. The Band Artifex is a Bologna-based band founded back in 1997 by Antonio "Mircea" Olivo (voice/guitar/electronics). The stylistic evolution through the years has led Artifex to "reach" a personal dimension sound. The sound is an HardRock / Industrial dilated and wide where electronic parts, are fused to rock and crossover, with an approach that touches even marginally the progressive, creating a powerful and engaging music. Artifex with their own music want to recall that "verve" which had the great bands of the 70s, developing their sound in a modern key through the "balance" between analog and digital.Three CDs self-produced, Tristis'97, In-Side'01 and Artifex ‘03, which gave the band the opportunity to grow-up more musically, experiment in the studio and live thanks to participation in several national festivals, key elements for success to create a dimension that would also involve the visual aspect.
